Managing Director – China Mr Chan Siu Hung meets with SPIC Chairman Qian Zhimin

On 10 September 2019, RHO invited Mr Qian Zhimin, Chairman of the State Power Investment Corporation Limited (SPIC), to visit CLP and meet with Managing Director – China of CLP Holdings Limited Mr Chan Siu Hung. Both parties made a in-depth exchange on such topics as global energy transition, clean energy development and the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Both sides agreed on leveraging their respective industrial, geographical and technical advantages to develop close collaborations in such fields as offshore wind power, solar power, nuclear power and integrated & smart energy in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Guangdong and Zhejiang. Meanwhile, the two would unlock more international cooperation potential, make vigorous efforts to drive deepened and practical cooperation, and make positive contributions to the development of the Greater Bay Area.
