On 14-15 May 2019, the Guangxi economic and trade delegation led by Mr Lu Xinshe, Secretary of the Party Committee of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, visited Hong Kong and held the Presentation on Guangxi Integrating the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area – Hong Kong 2019 activities. Managing Director – China of CLP Holdings Limited Mr Chan Siu Hung, as Vice Chairman of the China Committee of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce and member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Guangdong Committee, was invited to meet with Party Committee Secretary Lu and attend the exchange activities. Also at the presentation event were many public figures from Hong Kong’s political and business communities, including Mr Leung Chun-ying, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, and Ms Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor, the Chief Executive Designate of the Hong Kong SAR.
