Governor of Shandong Province Visits CLP to Discuss Opportunities for Clean Energy Investment

Governor of Shandong Province Mr Zhou Naixiang led a delegation of provincial officials on a visit to the headquarters of CLP Holdings Limited (CLP) on 30 May. The delegation had an in-depth exchange with CLP Holdings Chief Executive Officer Mr Richard Lancaster and CLP Holdings Managing Director- China Mr Joseph Law on CLP’s clean energy development and future investment opportunities in Shandong. Mayor of Jinan Mr Yu Haitian, Director of the Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of Shandong Province Mr Zhang Liansan, Director of Development and Reform Commission of Shandong Province Mr Sun Aijun, Director General of Science and Technology Department of Shandong Province Mr Sun Haisheng, Director General of Industry and Information Technology Department of Shandong Province Mr Zhang Haibo, Director General of the Commerce Department of Shandong Province Mr Chen Fei and Mayor of Yantai Mr Zheng Deyan also joined the visit.

CLP Hosts the 11th Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau Power Industry Summit Contributing to the Development of the Greater Bay Area and Achieving the Carbon Peaking and Neutrality Goals

CLP Holdings Limited (CLP) hosted the 11th Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau Power Industry Summit with the theme “Embrace Opportunities in Decarbonisation and the Greater Bay Area” in Hong Kong from 31 May to 2 June. Around 80 senior executives from CLP, China Southern Power Grid Co., Ltd., Companhia de Electricidade de Macau - CEM, S.A. and China General Nuclear Power Group attended the three-day summit which promoted the growth of the regional power industry and its role in the development of the Greater Bay Area and efforts to achieve national goals of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality.

CLP’s “Knitting for the Community” Campaign on the Mainland Contributes over 1,000 Handmade Items to Bring Warmth to the Local Community

CLP launched the “Knitting for the Community” campaign in Mainland China in 2022 by mobilising a total of 648 volunteers from Hong Kong and Mainland China to dedicate about 3,500 hours to knit over 1,000 handmade clothing items and accessoriessuch asscarves, hats, sweaters, shoes and embroidery insoles. These items were delivered to the elderly and children on the Mainland to keep them warm in the chilling winter.

CLP and TGOOD to Form Joint Venture to Develop Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure in Greater Bay Area

CLP Holdings Limited (CLP) and Qingdao TGOOD Electric Company Limited (TGOOD) are pleased to announce plans to establish a joint venture in Mainland China to invest in charging infrastructure network. The partnership aims to accelerate green transport, the construction of smart charging networks and development of the electric vehicle industry. The planned joint venture will be formed by CLP’s wholly-owned subsidiary CLP Energy Investment (Shenzhen) Limited (CLP Energy) and TGOOD’s subsidiary TELD New Energy Company Limited (TELD New Energy).
