CLP Holdings Limited Chairman Sir Michael Kadoorie invited by the Hong Kong SAR Government to attend the Hong Kong delegation for Beijing visit in celebrating the 70th founding anniversary of the PRC

On 30 September to 2 October 2019, The Honourable Sir Michael Kadoorie, Chairman of CLP Holdings Limited, as a member of the Hong Kong delegation, attended the celebrations for the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of The People’s Republic of China in Beijing.

On 1 October, Sir Michael Kadoorie watched the military parade and mass pageantry at Tian’anmen Square, and attended the Celebration for the 70th Founding Anniversary of PRC. On 2 October, he joined other members of the Hong Kong delegation to visit the Beijing Exhibition Centre for the exhibition of New China’s major achievements.

The delegation, comprising more than 240 influential members from all walks of life of Hong Kong, was organized by the Hong Kong SAR Government, and all their activities in Beijing were arranged by the SAR Government in a unified way.
