CLP, BASF, and Envision Energy Sign Long-Term Power Purchase Agreement to Provide 100% Renewable Energy at BASF’s Manufacturing Sites in Jiangsu Province

CLP China (CLP), BASF, and Envision Energy signed a 10-year power purchase agreement to support BASF's adoption of 100% renewable energy at its manufacturing sites in Nanjing, Rudong, and Zhenjiang in Jiangsu province. The agreement will contribute to BASF’s corporate goal of achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050 and accelerate the low-carbon energy transformation of Jiangsu.

CLP Showcases Low-Carbon Energy Transformation at CEPSI 2023 in Xiamen

The 24th Conference on the Electric Power Supply Industry (CEPSI 2023) began today (20 October) in Xiamen, Fujian Province, with the theme “Low-Carbon Energy Powering a Green Future”. CLP Power Hong Kong (CLP Power) Managing Director Mr Joseph Law delivered a keynote address at the Plenary Meeting. CLP Holdings Announces Senior Management Changes

CLP Holdings Limited (CLP or the Company) announced today that Mr Chiang Tung Keung will succeed Mr Richard Lancaster as Chief Executive Officer of the CLP Group in the third quarter of 2023. After having served as CEO for 10 years, Mr Lancaster will be handing over executive responsibilities on 30 September 2023 and retiring as planned from all positions at the CLP Group in early May 2024.

CLP Hosts the 11th Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau Power Industry Summit Contributing to the Development of the Greater Bay Area and Achieving the Carbon Peaking and Neutrality Goals

CLP Holdings Limited (CLP) hosted the 11th Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau Power Industry Summit with the theme “Embrace Opportunities in Decarbonisation and the Greater Bay Area” in Hong Kong from 31 May to 2 June. Around 80 senior executives from CLP, China Southern Power Grid Co., Ltd., Companhia de Electricidade de Macau - CEM, S.A. and China General Nuclear Power Group attended the three-day summit which promoted the growth of the regional power industry and its role in the development of the Greater Bay Area and efforts to achieve national goals of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality.
